Machine Learning Engineer

Endiatx is hiring a Machine Learning Engineer to lead end-to-end development and deployment of endoscopic image analysis systems on-site in Hayward, CA.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end machine learning lifecycle, including data curation, model development, evaluation, deployment, and ongoing monitoring
• Design, train, and validate computer vision models using frameworks such as PyTorch
• Develop image enhancement pipelines for in vivo constraints
• Optimize model performance across accuracy, latency, and compute constraints
• Implement neural compression techniques
• Build and maintain dataset infrastructure
• Deploy models into production environments using CI/CD and monitoring
• Contribute to localization and pose estimation
• Support perception systems for navigation and scene understanding
• Collaborate with simulation and visualization teams
• Mentor interns and junior engineers
• Communicate technical work clearly

Requirements

• 4+ years of ML engineering experience (or equivalent)
• Experience deploying production computer vision models
• Strong foundation in deep learning
• Proficiency in Python and PyTorch
• Experience with MLOps tools
• Strong software engineering fundamentals
• Strong communication skills
• Experience with image enhancement, compression, or perception systems

Location

Compensation

• $130,000 - $180,000 base salary per year
• Equity and benefits included
• Pay range: $130,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
