Machine Learning Engineer, Data & Machine Learning (DML)

AWS Professional Services seeks a Machine Learning Engineer to design, implement, and scale AI, ML, and generative AI solutions for customer use cases.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and scale secure, scalable AI/ML solutions on AWS tailored to customer needs, selecting and fine-tuning appropriate models for specific use cases
• Develop and deploy machine learning models and generative AI applications that address real world business problems; run experiments and optimize performance at scale
• Collaborate with customer stakeholders to identify high value AI/ML use cases, gather requirements, and propose effective implementation strategies for ML and generative AI
• Provide technical guidance on applying AI, ML, and generative AI responsibly and cost-efficiently; troubleshoot throughout project delivery and ensure adherence to best practices
• Act as a trusted advisor on the latest AI/ML advancements, emerging technologies, and innovative approaches to leveraging diverse data sources for business impact
• Share knowledge within the organization by mentoring, training, creating reusable AI/ML artifacts, and prototyping new technologies with the team to evaluate feasibility

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
• Experience with professional software engineering and full software development life cycle practices, including coding standards, architectures, code reviews, source control, continuous deployment, testing, and operational excellence
• 3+ years of machine learning or statistical modeling and data analysis tools and techniques
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above

Compensation

• Salary: USD 131,300 - 177,600 per year
