Mission Analytics Engineer
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Assist in building and maintaining data systems that enable high-quality, low-latency data ingestion from diverse source systems and subsequent transformation for downstream data products and operational workflows.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and develop secure, timely, accurate, trusted, and extensible data models.
- Establish yourself as a trusted partner to Anduril's leadership by creating reusable data entities that generalize division-wide operations and by delivering product, operations, and business workflows, dashboards, and metrics that improve decision making.
- Design and deploy analytics solutions for evolving needs in network-isolated and classified environments.
- Empower users to leverage the data architecture for self-service through enablement and knowledge transfer, while improving the developer and end-user experience.
Requirements
- Three or more years of experience in an analytics-focused or data-oriented role, such as data engineer, analytics engineer, data scientist, or data analyst.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities applied to complex and evolving data challenges.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly with technical audiences, and a demonstrated appreciation for documentation.
- Proficiency with multiple programming languages and frameworks used within the current technology stack.
- Experience building data solutions in a cloud environment.
- Current US Person status (U.S. citizen or permanent resident) with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Defense Secret Clearance or higher.

Compensation
Salary range is USD 113,000 to 149,000 per year.

About the Job
As a data analytics engineer on the Air Defense team, you will design and maintain data pipelines for structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data, building robust data models that yield actionable insights. You will collaborate with engineering and field operations to understand production performance across systems and capabilities, including in classified environments, and will develop data products to support operational workflows. Ensuring data quality and conducting root cause analysis on complex systems, you will deploy mission-critical analytics solutions and, when needed, travel to prototype, test, and deploy capabilities in the field.
