Responsibilities
- Develop advanced technology solutions and perform data engineering activities on mission-driven engagements.
- Deploy and enhance pipelines and platforms to organize disparate data and derive meaningful insights.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of analysts, data engineers, developers, and data consumers in a fast-paced, agile environment, providing guidance as needed.
- Apply analytical exploration and data assessment to oversee the design, construction, and maintenance of scalable data platforms for clients.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience.
- 3+ years designing, developing, operationalizing, and maintaining complex data applications at enterprise scale.
- 3+ years creating software to retrieve, parse, and process structured and unstructured data.
- 3+ years building scalable ETL or ELT workflows for reporting and analytics.
- Experience collaborating within a cross-functional team environment.
- Experience with Databricks, including Delta Lake, Spark, notebooks, and workflows or jobs.
- Experience with GitLab for version control, CI/CD pipelines, and code review workflows.
- Ability to develop scripts and programs to convert various data types into usable formats and support scaling, monitoring, and operation of data platforms.
- Secret clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree.

Compensation
The projected compensation range for this position is USD 62,000 to USD 141,000 per year. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by location, the candidate's education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
