NetSuite Developer & Product Data Engineer

Reliable Aftermarket Parts, Inc. is hiring a NetSuite Developer & Product Data Engineer (hybrid) to build NetSuite as the system of record and power reliable product-data publishing across marketplaces.

Responsibilities

• NetSuite development: write SuiteScript and SuiteQL
• Create saved searches, custom records and custom fields
• Build workflows that make NetSuite the system of record for product data
• Vendor data ingestion: collect, aggregate, and normalize supplier catalogs into clean, structured, trustworthy records
• Marketplace data operations: build and maintain feeds and syncs that publish to Amazon, eBay, Walmart, and the company store
• Implement validation and compliance checks to keep listings accurate
• Integrations and APIs: connect NetSuite, marketplace channels, and related tooling so data moves reliably
• Eliminate manual re-keying by building stable data movement between systems
• Own priority supplier feeds end-to-end: take inconsistent, half-trusted input arriving today, validate it, and publish cleanly to every channel, then repeat for the next feed
• Maintain the underlying system: pipelines, records, validation logic, and integrations that the business depends on

Requirements

• Ability to do both halves of the role:
  • NetSuite development using SuiteScript
  • Product-data engineering using SQL or SuiteQL plus Python or a comparable language for data work
• Deep capability in one area and strong ability in the other; willingness to deepen the second half with support
• Experience working on large, messy datasets with real volume and real stakes
• Ability to design data structures and integrations others can rely on and understand later
• US work authorization required; not able to sponsor employment visas for this role
• Be on-site at the Webberville, Michigan location a few days per week, including quarterly company planning days

Nice to Have (Not Required)

• NetSuite experience at a distributor, retailer, manufacturer, or ecommerce business, including integrations, imports, and production troubleshooting
• Experience with parts and fitment/catalog data, including ACES and PIES style data and OEM cross-references
• Comfort using AI developer tooling (for example, model-assisted code generation or automated test drafting) to move faster on pipeline and script work

• AI is used daily and only where it is better than the alternative
• Agents run on real work across the catalog; the data layer determines whether those agents are trustworthy
• Expect model fluency in workflows and a skeptical approach when outputs start making things up

Role Split and Ownership

• 50/50 role by design: about half NetSuite development and about half data engineering
• Routine item fixes and listing corrections remain with the listing team
• You build and own the system underneath: pipelines, records, validation, and integrations
• Build it once, correctly, so it holds

Team and Reporting

• Join the Ecommerce, Systems & Innovation team and report to its Director
• Team formed by merging business-systems and ecommerce teams
• Small team with real ownership and a short path from idea to live work
