Job Description
Loft Orbital Solutions is hiring an Information Systems Data Engineer onsite in Golden, CO to build core data infrastructure, integrate business systems, and deliver reporting for operational KPIs.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain a centralized SQL Server database and data model connecting Loft’s business systems
- Develop and operate Python/SQL ETL pipelines pulling from NetSuite, Arena, ION, Jira, and other sources
- Manage ETL workflows in GitLab using CI/CD
- Create Power BI dashboards and reports to monitor operational performance and KPIs
- Develop and support NetSuite customizations, including SuiteScripts, workflows, and saved searches
- Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Engineering, and IT to gather requirements and deliver integrations and tools
- Document systems and data flows, and support data quality, data governance, and change control
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in data engineering, business systems, or a related technical role
- Proficiency in Python for scripting, automation, and data processing
- Hands-on experience with GitLab and CI/CD processes
- Experience building and maintaining ETL pipelines
- Strong SQL skills, including relational database design and management
- Clear communicator who can translate business needs into technical solutions
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Software, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related engineering discipline, or equivalent professional experience
