Job Description

L.A. Care Health Plan seeks a seasoned Network Strategy Analytics Solutions and Data Analyst III to design, build, and operationalize advanced analytics across healthcare data domains from a centralized, cross-functional vantage point. In this senior role, you’ll serve as a subject matter expert and mentor, guiding analytics efforts and translating data revelations into clear, decision-ready insights for enterprise priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain reusable analytic data models and ETL pipelines to support recurring insights and performance monitoring.
  • Lead the development of sophisticated dashboards, reports, and analytic tools that reveal trends, correlations, and opportunities for performance improvement across enterprise domains.
  • Collaborate with analysts, data scientists, and operational stakeholders to embed insights directly into workflows and decision processes.
  • Implement and sustain version control, peer reviews (pull requests), and continuous integration practices for analytic codebases.
  • Ensure data lineage, governance, and reproducibility standards are upheld across all analytic products.
  • Support enterprise measure refresh cycles and alignment with standardized data abstraction layers.
  • Continuously enhance the analytic ecosystem by integrating new data sources, refining data structures, and optimizing performance.
  • Translate analytic findings into business-relevant narratives and partner with stakeholders to act on insights.
  • Apply subject matter expertise to evaluate operations and identify where technical solutions can boost performance.
  • Provide guidance across business operations, offering mentorship and sharing specialized knowledge.
  • Ensure accuracy of deliverables to meet department, organization, and policy standards.
  • Deliver training, propose process improvements, and mentor junior staff and interns as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive analytics experience in healthcare, managed care, or related industries.
  • Proven track record designing, developing, and operationalizing analytic solutions across multiple domains.
  • Experience translating multi-domain analytics into actionable insights for leadership and enterprise-wide initiatives.
  • Demonstrated success communicating insights to senior leadership and executives.
  • Experience supporting initiatives to optimize cost, access, and quality within provider networks.
  • Experience analyzing provider networks, including contracting, credentialing, and panel optimization.
  • Experience with enterprise-level initiatives such as KPI maintenance, cross-domain dashboards, ROI measurement, or strategic investment analytics.
  • Strong background in managing care operations, including capitation, provider networks, risk adjustment, or quality incentive programs.
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree required.
