Job Description

Constellation Inc is seeking a Power Platform Data Analyst to support hybrid work from Washington, DC. In this role, you will combine statistical and data analysis with Power Platform development to turn field inputs into reliable reporting, dashboards, and automated information flows for client teams.

What you will do

  • Develop and maintain MS Power Apps to capture field inputs, build automated reports and workflows, and move previously manual processes into a digital data repository.
  • Partner with the client to implement and deploy applications across the organization for field users.
  • Support data exploration, categorization, and review, and develop approaches for data curation and visualization.
  • Inspect, clean, transform, and model data to identify useful insights that inform conclusions and support decision-making.
  • Access and analyze data from client systems and external commercial products, including tools such as MS Dynamics, Azure, Excel, MS Access, case management systems, and SharePoint.
  • Review and validate data to support application development and visualization deliverables such as graphics, charts, tables, websites, and training materials aimed at reducing manual and redundant work.
  • Create and manage program-level dashboards that feed agency-level dashboards and placemats covering programs across the security portfolios.
  • Review database architecture and data control policies, and provide recommendations for utilization, improvements, or new investments.
  • Assist with documentation and data collection aligned to program goals and objectives, including updating security information on organizational SharePoint sites.

Requirements

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DHS CBP Tier 5 Background Investigation (BI).
  • Bachelor's Degree (required) in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analysis, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or reporting roles.
  • Highly experienced with BI platforms such as PowerApps, Power BI, and SharePoint forms and lists.
  • Proficiency in SQL for querying, transforming, and analyzing data across large datasets.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into effective dashboards.
  • Experience creating data visualizations in multiple tools, including Power BI, Tableau, or other visualization programs.
  • Be a U.S. citizen able to pass a background investigation by the client agency.
  • Must be able to commute to the client site periodically.
  • Hybrid / Remote role based in Washington, DC.

Compensation and job details

  • Salary: USD 100,000 - 130,000 per year
