Principal Data Engineer, R&D

Responsibilities

• Develop the data architecture and platform strategy across several IHFM product domains.
• Own the most complex and ambiguous data engineering challenges, including suite-level interoperability and scaling device data.
• Collaborate with Technical Data Product Managers and Data Intelligence and Engineering leadership to shape the roadmap.
• Establish standards for ingestion, modeling, governance, lineage, quality, data products, data contracts, and SLAs that the data platform operates on.
• Define how validated, traceable, and integrity-preserving data pipelines are engineered across the platform.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a scientific field plus six or more years of related data engineering experience.
• Proven experience in data platform architecture, distributed processing, and large-scale data modeling, including modern platforms such as Databricks and Snowflake.
• Deep experience with data governance, validation, and integrity in a regulated environment.
