Senior AI Engineer

Motion Recruitment is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to lead the development, implementation, and productionization of advanced AI solutions for a fintech AI platform. The role works closely with product and engineering teams to deliver scalable, AI-driven capabilities while keeping the platform aligned with emerging AI technologies.

Role Overview

In this position, you will bring proven market AI models into production environments and help ensure AI features are reliable, efficient, and maintained over time. You will also collaborate across functions to integrate AI systems into existing products and workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Use best-in-class market AI models to build and deploy solutions, moving work from concept through production for a diverse client base.
• Integrate advanced AI models and systems into existing products and operational workflows.
• Design scalable AI systems, including model orchestration, caching strategies, and fallback procedures.
• Monitor emerging AI technologies and incorporate relevant improvements to keep the platform current and innovative.
• Partner cross-functionally to support robust and efficient implementation of AI systems.

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer (or similar), delivering, shipping, and testing enterprise-grade software.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Hands-on experience with production-level LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google, including strengths in rate-limiting, cost-effectiveness, and real-time performance monitoring.
• Strong background using data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes to support AI workflows.
• Demonstrated production experience using frameworks such as RAG to enhance proprietary data models.
• Practical experience testing AI systems, including model evaluation, A/B testing, and post-deployment performance monitoring.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary: USD 210,000 - 263,000 per year
