The Senior Data Analyst role with Louisville Metro Government is an onsite position in Louisville, KY, focused on analyzing data and generating accessible reports and visuals that tell a clear narrative, under general supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical assistance for data collection and analysis activities within the assigned department.
• Assists in designing data collection strategies to assess program outcomes and overall effectiveness.
• Retrieves, processes, and makes data from diverse sources available to internal and external stakeholders.
• Links, converts, or saves data into databases, spreadsheets, or graphical formats as needed.
• Conducts statistical and qualitative analyses of data drawn from operational and financial systems to support optimized decision making.
• Oversees and conducts program evaluations.
• Produces program and organizational reports, including visualizations and written analyses.
• Promotes empowerment and accountability to resolve issues and enhance operations.
• Responds promptly and professionally to routine data requests.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• The role centers on analyzing data and producing reports that utilize infographics, maps, graphs, and charts to convey a clear, easily understandable narrative.
• Under general supervision, the incumbent independently determines methods and sequencing of tasks.
