Job Description
ThinkDigits, Inc. is hiring a Senior Data Scientist to support intelligent manufacturing initiatives within the SmartFaktory platform. In this hybrid role based in the United States, you will apply AI/ML, computer vision, and real-time IoT streaming data to advance Industry 4.0 use cases, including digital twin capabilities.
You will work across the full workflow, from modeling and deployment to collaboration with plant teams and leadership, helping production organizations translate data into actionable predictions and automation.
What you’ll do
- Develop machine learning models for manufacturing use cases, including Anomaly Detection, Predictive Maintenance, Predictive Quality, Forecasting, and Inventory Optimization
- Build computer vision models focused on defect detection and safety use cases
- Work with real-time IoT and streaming data from systems such as PLCs, SCADA, and MES
- Develop Digital Twin and Industry 4.0 solutions
- Deploy scalable ML pipelines using Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure
- Collaborate with plant teams and leadership to support manufacturing objectives
What we’re looking for
- Degree in Data Science / Computer Science / Engineering
- Experience in applied Data Science
- Experience in manufacturing / Industry 4.0
Preferred background
- Digital Twin experience
- Causal AI / Reinforcement Learning
- Automotive / Supply Chain domain experience

Role location
