Senior Data Scientist
Job Description
Senior Data Scientist role supporting customer missions using geospatial intelligence data in Springfield, VA or St. Louis, MO.
Responsibilities
- Conduct quantitative analysis to support mission needs.
- Create visualizations that inform decisions.
- Develop and maintain software to keep geospatial data pipeline operations running and visible.
- Leverage experience with EO or SAR imagery, including understanding collection-related data quirks.
- Write Python to transform EO/SAR data into usable outputs.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI clearance.
- Hands-on experience with AI/ML technologies and the data systems that feed them.
- Comfort working across complex geospatial data formats, including JSON, XML, and related file types.
- 3+ years of quantitative analysis, visualization development, and data processing, including ETL and work with SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Python development experience for data cleaning and manipulation.

Desired Qualifications

Compensation
- USD 150,000 - 175,000 per year
- Expected salary range applies to the Washington, DC metropolitan area: $150,000-$175,000.
- Final compensation varies based on experience, education, geographic location, and contractual requirements; not a guarantee.
