Job Description
The Senior Data Scientist - AI Trainer role supports the development of AI systems for quantitative reasoning by assessing AI outputs, creating training and benchmarking problems, and delivering feedback that improves how models handle data and scientific tasks.
Location and Employment Details

Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate AI-generated quantitative work, including statistical analysis, predictive modeling, scientific reasoning, and data-driven insights, with a focus on technical accuracy and real-world validity.
- Design and solve quantitative problems used to train and benchmark AI systems, covering areas such as forecasting, experimental analysis, optimization, and statistical inference.
- Produce clear technical explanations and maintain well-documented analytical code.
- Provide feedback that informs the next generation of AI models built for quantitative reasoning.
Requirements
- Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience in a quantitative role or research environment (examples include data science, statistics, economics, finance, physics, biology, epidemiology, operations research, or adjacent fields).
- Coding: some coding experience required, including comfort writing and reviewing analytical code end-to-end.
- Quantitative methods: practical experience with statistical methods, predictive modeling, and experiment design such as A/B testing, hypothesis testing, regression, classification, and time-series forecasting.
- Language: fluency in English (native or bilingual) with strong writing skills.
- Education: a bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or similar preferred); Master’s or PhD is a plus.
- Credentials (plus): relevant credentials such as Kaggle Competition ranking, AWS/GCP ML certifications, or equivalent demonstrated expertise.
