Sr. Data Engineer

Elevate is hiring a contract Sr. Data Engineer for an on-site role in Plano, TX, supporting enterprise data systems and large-scale architecture.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize scalable data pipelines and ETL workflows
• Design reliable data models and integrate structured and unstructured data
• Work with product, analytics, and engineering teams to maintain data availability and data quality
• Use cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP to support large-scale data architecture
• Monitor pipeline performance and troubleshoot data integrity issues

Requirements

• Proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation
• Strong experience with cloud data platforms including AWS Redshift and Azure Synapse
• Hands-on experience with ETL tools, data modeling, and data warehouse design
• Familiarity with data governance, version control, and CI/CD for data engineering workflows
• Solid understanding of Git, Agile practices, and Jira

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with big data tools such as Spark and Hadoop
• Familiarity with APIs and real-time data streaming using Kafka and Kinesis
• Prior experience on enterprise-level projects or large system integrations
