Job Description
Own end-to-end applied AI for Dossbot and agentic automations built on live operational data.
Responsibilities
- Own applied AI architecture end-to-end: model selection, orchestration, RAG over the unified operational data model, production evals, guardrails, and production cost/latency budgets
- Develop Dossbot as the primary operations interface for natural-language search, analysis, and automation grounded in live supply-chain, finance, and ops data
- Build AI-assisted tooling using foundation models to propose, validate, and apply customer schemas and workflow definitions on live production tenants
- Design agentic workflows that operate inside enterprise guardrails: permission-aware, auditable, tenant-isolated, and safe to run against a customer system of record
- Stand up evaluation and observability to measure quality, catch regressions, and proactively detect anomalous or risky emergent behavior
- Partner cross-functionally with product, design, and the Forward Deployed team to deliver high-leverage AI use cases
- Mentor and raise team standards as a center of gravity for applied AI, improving how the team builds, evaluates, and ships LLM-powered systems
Requirements
- Shipped LLM-powered features or agents to production and operated them at scale (not just prototypes or demos)
- Hands-on experience with foundation model APIs, RAG pipelines, tool use/function calling, and prompt and context engineering; fine-tuning where it earns its keep
- Experience building eval harnesses and guardrails for non-deterministic systems running on business-critical data
- Strong backend fundamentals: systems design, Postgres, and cloud services for reliable multi-tenant web applications
- Ability to go from 0 to 1 in ambiguous settings, with judgment on when AI is the right tool
- Team collaboration: positivity, openness, and curiosity
- Growth mindset focused on learning and continuous improvement for self, team, and company
- Craftsmanship and a focus on building high-quality systems
- Customer First mindset focused on the customer experience journey and product delight
- Pragmatic decision-making based on circumstances, not theory
- Low ego, thriving in collaborative environments where everyone supports the team
