Systems Integration and Data Engineer

FuntoRecruit is seeking a Systems Integration and Data Engineer for an RFP-associated opportunity based in Carolina, PR (onsite). The assignment supports delivery-coverage for an IT Sourcing Event Template, with ownership of a dedicated integration workstream spanning interface definition, data mapping, migration and reconciliation, identity integration, and technical acceptance evidence.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and manage interfaces, data mappings, migration and reconciliation, identity integration, error handling, and technical acceptance evidence.
• Ensure traceability of assigned work to the RFP scope, including requirements or RTM row, deliverables, dependencies, acceptance criteria, schedule milestones, and supporting evidence.
• Review official solicitation materials and any addenda affecting this workstream, and document assumptions, open items, exclusions, risks, and any client decisions required.
• Produce role-specific technical inputs and work products, including implementation details, quality records, and proposal or post-award delivery evidence.
• Coordinate integration interfaces and handoffs with project management, business analysis, technical, field, quality, compliance, training, and operations workstreams.
• Maintain status and record-keeping for issues, decisions, changes, and evidence, and escalate blockers ahead of submission or delivery readiness impacts.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience executing Systems Integration and Data Engineer responsibilities in public-sector, regulated, enterprise, or comparable environments.
• Ability to create complete, reviewable work products that connect to requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Strong documentation practices with effective stakeholder coordination, risk awareness, confidentiality, and deadline discipline.
• Possession of relevant licenses, certifications, clearances, insurance, or local delivery capacity when required by the solicitation.
