Job Description

EVERSANA’s Commercial Technology organization is seeking a Technology Product Owner to lead the Commercial Analytics & Data product portfolio supporting analytics-driven commercial operations and decision-making across Electrophysiology. In this contract role based onsite in Irvine, CA, you will own strategy and delivery for analytics capabilities, from product vision and roadmap through adoption and continuous improvement.

You will partner with Commercial Operations, Sales leadership, Finance, Marketing, Sales Enablement, and technology teams to turn commercial questions and field feedback into governed analytics products. The role includes establishing measurable outcomes and ensuring the experience is built around decisions and user workflows, not standalone reports.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own product vision, roadmap, and value realization strategy for the Commercial Analytics portfolio.
  • Convert commercial priorities, business questions, user needs, and field feedback into an actionable analytics roadmap and prioritized product backlog.
  • Define analytics use cases that improve commercial decision-making in collaboration with Commercial Operations, Sales leadership, Finance, Marketing, and Sales Enablement.
  • Set clear product outcomes and KPIs across analytics adoption, decision effectiveness, forecast visibility, field effectiveness, data quality, and user experience.
  • Prioritize investments spanning run, enhancement, modernization, and innovation based on business value, technical feasibility, dependencies, and organizational readiness.
  • Lead end-to-end delivery from discovery and requirements through data enablement, visualization, release, adoption, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage the product backlog, user stories, acceptance criteria, sprint and release planning, and product governance.
  • Partner with Power BI and analytics developers, data engineers, architects, platform teams, analysts, data scientists, and delivery partners to execute the roadmap.
  • Drive adoption using stakeholder engagement, communications, training, feedback loops, and usage measurement to iteratively improve the product.
  • Lead commercial BI and visualization product leadership, including Power BI and Qlik.
  • Guide evolution and rationalization of the analytics experience, including enhancing existing dashboards, Power BI adoption, and migration or decommissioning of legacy analytics where applicable.
  • Promote reusable analytics patterns, common semantic definitions, consistent user experiences, and scalable dashboard design.
  • Improve performance, usability, accessibility, maintainability, and adoption of commercial analytics products.
  • Evaluate opportunities for AI-assisted analytics, conversational interfaces, automated insight generation, and improved distribution of analytics.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the end-to-end commercial data landscape, including source systems, integrations, transformation logic, data models, semantic models, and consumption layers.
  • Partner with data engineering and architecture teams to document and continuously improve source-to-consumption data flows and integration dependencies.
  • Apply knowledge of dimensional and relational data modeling to evaluate requirements, identify gaps, challenge assumptions, and guide scalable solution design.
  • Ensure consistent representation of business definitions, calculations, hierarchies, relationships, and key metrics across analytics products.
  • Coordinate integration of internal and third-party data sources, including ownership of interfaces, refresh cadence, dependencies, and failure handling.
  • Align solutions with approved data platforms, architecture patterns, integration standards, and source-of-truth principles in partnership with enterprise data and platform teams.
  • Establish ownership and governance for critical commercial data, metrics, and business definitions, including visibility into data lineage, refresh cadence, source-of-truth rules, data gaps, and quality issues.
  • Work with business and engineering teams to define quality expectations, reconciliation processes, issue triage, and remediation priorities.
  • Ensure analytics products comply with enterprise security, privacy, governance, and regulatory requirements, and make data definitions, limitations, dependencies, and quality transparent.
  • Understand the decisions analytics must enable across commercial performance, forecasting, field effectiveness, account and opportunity prioritization, physician/customer intelligence, and planning.
  • Lead discovery activities such as process mapping, decision mapping, journey mapping, and analytics capability assessments.
  • Translate analytical and technical concepts into business language, communicating tradeoffs, risks, dependencies, and roadmap decisions effectively.
  • Influence cross-functional alignment without direct authority and build trusted partnerships across business, data, analytics, and technology organizations.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage Generative AI, predictive analytics, automation, data science, and conversational analytics to improve commercial decisions and productivity.
  • Partner with data science, engineering, and platform teams to move valuable analytical concepts from experimentation into governed, scalable products.
  • Ensure AI and advanced analytics use cases are grounded in trusted data, clear business outcomes, measurable value, and appropriate governance.
  • Evaluate emerging analytics technologies and platform capabilities to inform the long-term Commercial Analytics roadmap.
  • Champion the company Product Operating Model and co-own value realization with the Business Product Owner, aligning a stable cross-functional squad around shared outcomes.
  • Foster user-centricity, experimentation, transparency, continuous learning, and outcome-based delivery.
  • Lead Agile product ceremonies and governance activities, including backlog refinement, prioritization, planning, demos, and retrospectives.
  • Promote data-driven prioritization, measurable outcomes, and continuous improvement of team effectiveness.
  • Support an inclusive, high-performing, continuously learning team environment.
