You will own the full data lifecycle, turning raw operational, engineering, and financial data into actionable insights that drive cross-functional decisions and support automation and AI initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Pull data from ERP, CRM, and internal databases using SQL (T-SQL, SSMS or equivalent) and run queries to access required datasets
- Clean, validate, and structure data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability across systems
- Analyze data to uncover trends, identify inefficiencies, and reveal business opportunities
- Translate business needs into concrete data requirements and reporting outputs
- Create dashboards, reports, and KPI tools using Power BI and advanced Excel
- Collaborate with operations, engineering, sales, and leadership to enable data driven decision making
- Support automation of reporting processes and reduce manual data tasks
- Lead exploration and adoption of AI tools to improve efficiency and insight generation
- Serve as internal liaison for outsourced IT support, handling onboarding, access provisioning, and ticket coordination
Requirements
- Bachelorโs degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, MIS, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred
- 4 to 5 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related role preferred
- Candidates with 2 to 3 years of strong, relevant experience will be considered
- Industry experience in mid- to large-sized manufacturing environments is required
- Strong SQL skills including T-SQL, joins, and filtering datasets
- Advanced Excel skills
- Power Query for data extraction, transformation, and ETL
- Power Pivot for data modeling across multiple sources
- Experience handling complex formulas and large datasets
- Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools
- Strong analytical and problem solving abilities with a curiosity driven mindset
- Clear communicator able to work with both technical and non-technical teams
- Hands-on experience evaluating or implementing AI tools to improve reporting, analysis, efficiency, or decision making, with measurable outcomes
- Comfortable working in a fast paced, evolving, cross functional environment
