Business Intelligence and Data Analyst
Job Description
GAM Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a seasoned data professional to anchor its data foundation and analytics capabilities. This on-site, full-time role focuses on turning raw data from ERP, CRM, and manufacturing systems into actionable insights that inform strategic decisions at the highest level, with direct visibility to the C-Suite. The ideal candidate will combine strong data engineering, reporting, and storytelling skills to empower cross-functional leadership.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain a single source of truth by consolidating data from ERP, CRM, and manufacturing systems into clean, reliable, reportable datasets.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and KPI tools using Power BI and advanced Excel for senior and executive leadership.
- Clean, validate, and structure data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability across systems.
- Extract and query data from ERP, CRM, and internal databases using SQL (T-SQL / SSMS or similar).
- Translate business needs into structured data requirements and reporting outputs.
- Analyze data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and business opportunities.
- Collaborate with operations, engineering, sales, and leadership to support data-driven decision-making.
- Support automation of reporting and reduction of manual data processes.
- Lead exploration and adoption of AI tools to improve efficiency and insight generation.
- Serve as internal liaison for outsourced IT support, including onboarding, access setup, and ticket coordination.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in data Analytics, Business Analytics, MIS, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- 4+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or related role preferred.
- Strong ability to communicate data-driven storylines to technical and non-technical teams.
- Proficient SQL skills (T-SQL, querying, joins, filtering datasets).
- Advanced Excel skills, including Power Query (ETL) and Power Pivot (data modeling across multiple sources).
- Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools.
- Complex formulas and handling large datasets.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a curiosity-driven mindset.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving, cross-functional environment.
