Job Description

The Senior Data Analyst at Huyett supports data-driven decision-making, process automation, and reporting across multiple functional areas. This on-site role is based in Minneapolis, KS or Sidney, NE, with relocation required, and offers a salary range of USD 72,000 to 92,000 per year.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of models and tools to support operations initiatives, strategic programs, and new product solutions, employing complex mathematical modeling within an Agile framework.
Develop engaging data visualizations that convey complex insights to diverse audiences.
Create interactive tools enabling stakeholders to drill into data and explore scenarios.
Build efficient data models and optimize queries to enable fast, reliable reporting.
Deliver scalable BI solutions capable of handling increasing data volumes and users.
Train business users on BI tools and best practices for data analysis and visualization.
Document data sources, metric definitions, and analytical methodologies to preserve organizational knowledge.
Continuously maintain and manage database systems and security in line with policies and best practices.
Develop data analytics tools, interfaces, and reports that are user friendly, efficient to develop, and well-documented for future users.
Utilize Python or other approved languages for data analysis and visualization to support machine learning initiatives.
Manage complex tool design projects with regular user input, management reporting, and resource deployment.

Requirements

Proven experience in building and maintaining data pipelines.
Experience in data modeling for ad hoc visualizations and analytical applications.
Proficiency in Python, SQL, and DAX.
Experience using SQL to analyze data stored in databases.
Experience designing and developing user-friendly dashboards and data visualizations in BI platforms; preferred.
Experience programming and aggregating data in Microsoft Power BI using DAX; desirable.
