Job Description

Senior Consultant on Deloitte's Modeling & Insights (M&I) team within Strategy & Transactions, based onsite in Dallas, TX. The role involves developing and delivering financial models and supporting analyses for transactions, strategic business planning, and operational decision-making. It leverages the Apex Platform to integrate models with enterprise data and technology solutions, applies artificial intelligence to financial modeling and advisory work, and coordinates with specialists across tax, valuation, accounting, consulting, and related functions. The position carries a salary range of USD 113,300 to 207,800 per year, requires a Bachelor's degree, and a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Responsibilities

Take a lead role in guiding clients through decision-making processes
Develop and deliver financial models and supporting analyses for transactions, strategic business planning, and operational decision-making
Collaborate with Deloitte's Apex Platform to connect financial models with enterprise data and technology solutions, including ERP systems, databases, visualization platforms, and analytics tools to generate data-driven insights
Apply artificial intelligence capabilities in financial modeling and advisory work
Advise clients by translating technical and commercial knowledge to analyze, interpret, and communicate actionable outcomes from financial models and data solutions
Design scalable, reusable financial solutions for scenario analysis, sensitivity testing, and long-term planning
Coordinate with Deloitte subject matter specialists across tax, valuation, accounting, consulting, regulatory, and business functions
Support business development activities for the Modeling & Insights Practice

Job Description

Maxonic, Inc. is looking for a Financial Data Analyst III to support its Supply Chain FP&A function in Boise. This on-site contract role delivers financial guidance, analytics, and actionable insights to the Distribution organization, with duties that include building financial models, creating reports and dashboards, and serving as a finance partner to both corporate and field teams.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Vice President, Director, and Manager of Supply Chain Finance to design and deliver key performance reports that compare actual results to plans and forecasts
Evaluate KPIs to identify trends, insights, and risks and opportunities
Compile monthly business reviews with clear, actionable analysis and recommendations
Promote a data driven approach to explaining variances between actual performance and forecasts
Extract data from primary and secondary systems and create, maintain, and enhance complex data repositories
Develop financial models, dashboards, and BI tools to evaluate complex scenarios and strategic initiatives
Quantify financial and operational impacts to the P&L
Serve as a finance business partner to the Distribution organization at corporate and field levels

Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on people efficiency, process effectiveness, automation, and tool usage

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent work experience
Minimum of 4 years of experience in financial analysis, data analysis, financial modeling, finance, accounting, or a related field
Strong ability to analyze, interpret, and report on large financial data sets
Proven problem solving skills using structured analytical frameworks
Advanced Excel skills
SQL / Snowflake or similar analytical data warehouses
Tableau, Power BI, or other business intelligence tools
