Job Description
Intuit is seeking a seasoned data professional to join as a Staff Technical Data Analyst in Finance Analytics & Systems. The role centers on solving complex business challenges through data analytics, building end-to-end data solutions, and delivering leadership-ready insights that drive strategic decision making. This onsite position is based in Mountain View, California, and collaborates closely with FP&A teams to translate analytics needs into scalable data products.

Responsibilities
- Partner with FP&A teams to understand analytics needs and deliver end-to-end data solutions.
- Collect and analyze data from diverse sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and external datasets.
- Develop and maintain data models and algorithms to support business decisions.
- Apply statistical techniques to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into data-driven solutions.
- Design and implement data collection systems to optimize data quality and efficiency.
- Provide recommendations to improve data collection and analysis processes.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in data analysis techniques and tools.
- Build subject-matter expertise and finance acumen to contextualize analytics for leadership.
- Narrate complex data stories concisely, highlighting insights and their impact on business outcomes for leaders and stakeholders.
- Manage multiple projects concurrently to meet objectives and deadlines.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in a data analytics role.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent work experience.
- Advanced data visualization tools (Qlik Sense preferred or equivalent); SQL skills for data manipulation, querying, and performance tuning; experience with Databricks and data integration.
- Familiarity with AWS services (Redshift, Athena); knowledge of Python and JavaScript is a plus.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively partner with colleagues across the business with varying technical expertise.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on creating efficient, maintainable, and scalable data solutions.
