Job Description

Infosys offers an onsite opportunity in Charlotte, NC for an Ab Initio Data Engineer. This role centers on proactive collaboration across the software development lifecycle, close stakeholder engagement, and maintaining healthy, reliable systems. You will capture requirements, design and document software, develop and test applications, integrate new features, and sustain system health through a collaborative, proactive approach.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in targeted interviews and workshops to capture user needs and ensure accurate documentation of stakeholder requirements
  • Participate in design discussions to define software specifications and help create process documentation
  • Develop, refine, and document code for new software applications, following detailed design specifications to meet user requirements
  • Execute test plans, analyze outcomes, and report defects to the development team to enhance software performance
  • Support the integration of new software features, enabling smooth transitions within the existing system infrastructure
  • Monitor and troubleshoot live applications, ensuring prompt resolution of issues and creating comprehensive maintenance documentation
  • Systematically document coding practices, testing methodologies, and technical solutions to enrich the team knowledge repository

Assigned responsibilities for the Technology Consultant 1 role
