AI Engineer
Job Description
Infosys offers an onsite opportunity in Hartford, CT for an AI Engineer who will drive end-to-end analytics work, from data extraction and transformation to preparation, model development, testing, validation, and deployment of analytics tools. You will collaborate closely with business and technology teams to translate requirements into actionable models and communicate results clearly.
Responsibilities

- Ensure quality for model development
- Participate in developing models using statistical or machine learning techniques
- Collaborate with technology teams to operationalize models into analytics tools or scripts
- Participate in model testing
- Participate in model validation
- Select the best-performing algorithms based on statistical and business metrics
- Participate in the development of advanced analytics and machine learning or deep learning models including LLMs
- Use predefined processes and tools like SAS and R or Python
- Participate in defining analytics problems
- Execute visualization, analysis, and predictive modeling with senior support
- Identify data sources
- Extract from RDBMS
- Develop UI/UX for client usage
- Participate in model performance
- Make minor adjustments to model performance
- Escalate risks or compliance concerns
- Generate reports on deviations or schedule slippages
- Proactively document model development for reproducibility
- Proactively document model testing for reproducibility
- Proactively document deployment activities for reproducibility
- Work closely with business and technology teams to translate requirements into actionable models
- Communicate results effectively
- Apply predefined quality measurement frameworks to individual project tasks
- Participate in deploying analytics tools in test environments
- Participate in deploying analytics tools in production environments
- Ensure analytics tools meet operational requirements
