AI Engineer

Fraction (DevHawk) builds client solutions through an AI Software Factory, using agents and automation supported by human judgment. In this hybrid role based in Atlanta, GA, you will help ship AI-powered software improvements across the stack, from the front end to server/serverless layers, databases, and cloud components.

This is a full-time position with an annual salary range of $75,000 to $125,000. The work model is hybrid (3 days in office).

Responsibilities

• Develop software solutions for clients using AI coding assistants (including ClaudeCode and Codex) to improve productivity across the technology stack, including front end, server/serverless tier, database, and cloud
• Engage with clients to understand requirements and shape technical solutions
• Support internal engineering by building and improving solutions for the DevHawk Software Factory

Requirements

• Comfort working in ambiguity
• Proficiency using AI coding assistants (for example Claude Code or Codex) and working at the speed of AI
• Experience using JSON + SQL for data work
• Knowledge of OAuth and other SSO approaches for security
• Familiarity with GitHub Actions, Terraform, or other modern CI/CD and IaC practices
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple clients at once
• Must be authorized to work for any US employer
• Must be based in Atlanta and able to work hybrid (3 days in office)
