AI/Machine Learning Engineer Senior
Job Description
We are seeking a senior AI and machine learning engineering leader to head Lockheed Martin's AI Consulting portfolio, directing the design, development, and deployment of AI solutions across the enterprise by integrating software engineering with advanced AI/ML capabilities and business strategy.

Grand Prairie, TX (remote)
Salary
USD 108,800 - 216,890 per year
Responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders to identify opportunities and craft AI solutions
- Model complex business and engineering problems using machine learning and feature engineering techniques
- Deploy AI capabilities and guide projects from inception to delivery
- Apply established best practices from machine learning and software engineering
- Produce knowledge resources to disseminate best practices across AI and data science teams
- Engage with data science leaders to share and discuss best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, with at least five years of professional experience
- Master's degree with three years of professional experience
- Significant experience applying ML techniques to business problems, including natural language processing, deep learning, anomaly detection, and reinforcement learning
- Experience with Python, TypeScript, or compiled languages such as C++, Go, and similar technologies
- Experience developing software and adhering to software engineering best practices
- U.S. citizenship is required
