Job Description
Design, build, and maintain analytics-ready data pipelines and ETL systems in a role focused on reliability, governance, and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the design, build, and ongoing maintenance of efficient data pipelines and ETL processes to support reliable data flow.
- Develop and maintain scalable data warehouse solutions to support evolving organizational data needs.
- Monitor data pipelines, troubleshoot issues, and help ensure problems are identified and resolved promptly.
- Model data tables and support business intelligence reporting dashboard development.
- Support implementation of the team’s data engineering strategy, aligned to organizational goals.
- Collaborate with the team and manager to evaluate and implement new technologies and methodologies that improve data engineering capabilities.
Requirements
- 1+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering, data analytics, or a related technical field.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
- Experience with AWS, including services such as S3, Glue/EMR, SQS, Step Functions, etc.
- Strong programming skills in SQL and Python.
- Experience querying and building in Snowflake with dbt.
- Familiarity with version control, continuous integration, and infrastructure as code.
- Familiarity with business intelligence reporting tools.
- Knowledge of Point of Sale and Back of House systems is helpful.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Clear communicator able to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
