Azure AI Engineer

This role is for a senior AI and machine learning engineer focused on building and scaling modern AI capabilities within a large, complex global data environment. The work includes developing applications using LLMs and RAG, alongside designing data modeling and Lakehouse architectures with strong Azure AI platform experience preferred.

What You’ll Do

• Build real world AI and machine learning solutions.
• Develop applications using LLMs, RAG, and Python.
• Work with large, complex data environments.
• Design data modeling and Lakehouse architectures.
• Apply traditional machine learning and forecasting approaches.
• Identify opportunities where AI can improve business processes and decision making.
• Support development of the company’s overall AI capabilities and roadmap.
• Help solve complex data integration challenges across a global organization.

Requirements

• Strong AI and machine learning engineering experience.
• Strong data background.
• Experience working with large scale or complex data environments.
• RAG experience.
• Python.
• Data modeling experience.
• Lakehouse or similar architecture experience.
• Experience building practical AI solutions.
• Understanding of traditional machine learning and forecasting.
• Ability to work independently and contribute quickly.

Cloud and AI Platform Experience

• Azure AI experience is strongly preferred.
• Azure AI Foundry experience is highly desirable.
• Experience translating effectively from AWS, Google Cloud, or similar platforms is also considered.

Location and Compensation

Huntington Beach, CA (onsite). Salary range: USD 135,000 to 150,000 per year.
