Job Description

Location: Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin (onsite).
Responsibilities
- Identify production line problems, offer recommendations, and train staff on solutions.
- Evaluate current production methods and performance.
- Create and implement program improvements to boost efficiency in production and related areas.
- Design an improved production process and draft its specifications.
- Introduce cost-reducing changes while maintaining quality and throughput.
- Maximize the productivity of machines and the workforce.
- Lead capacity studies for assigned processes.
- Collaborate with production engineering to prepare and maintain capacity models and plans.
- Determine the appropriate data sets and variables to analyze.
- Collect large volumes of structured and unstructured data from diverse sources.
- Clean and validate data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Develop models and algorithms to mine large data stores.
- Analyze data to identify patterns and trends, and interpret findings to uncover solutions and opportunities.
- Present insights to stakeholders through visualizations and other communication methods.
- Identify data analytics problems with the greatest potential impact for the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Programming, Production Engineering, or Industrial Engineering with 2–5 years of experience, or a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with an equivalent combination of 5+ years of practical experience and coursework is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office is preferred.
- Experience or demonstrated proficiency in a programming language such as Python, Matlab, or Visual Basic is preferred.
- Experience or familiarity with CAD is preferred.
- Familiarity with standardized work combination tables, takt time, cycle time, and related concepts.
- Foundational understanding of data science and analytics principles.
- Knowledge of SQL and relational databases; experience with SQL joins and conditional statements is preferred.
- RStudio programming experience is preferred.

Export controls and compliance
- Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC. This includes identifying ITAR products on the manufacturing floor and understanding that access to related technical data is restricted to US Citizens and US Permanent Residents.
- Recognition of foreign person visitors by badge differentiation.
- Follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities.

Compensation for roles varies based on location, role, skill set, and experience. In states where required by law, TTM provides a reasonable compensation range for roles in New York, California, and Colorado, with California-specific ranges based on precise physical locations.
