Job Description

Support manufacturing performance with data that drives measurable improvement. As a Production Data Analyst in Germantown, MD (onsite), you will collect, validate, analyze, and report production information to help teams strengthen efficiency, quality, delivery performance, and operational effectiveness. You will work closely with production, quality, engineering, supply chain, and leadership teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, translating day-to-day data into decision-ready insights.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, validate, analyze, and maintain production, labor, quality, inventory, and operational-performance data from manufacturing systems and other data sources.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, scorecards, and visualizations for key manufacturing metrics and performance trends.
  • Monitor KPIs including production output, labor efficiency, scrap, rework, yield, on-time delivery, downtime, throughput, and inventory accuracy.
  • Analyze production data to identify trends, root causes, process gaps, and opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, cost, and delivery performance.
  • Partner with production leadership, engineering, quality, supply chain, and program teams to provide timely, data-driven recommendations for operational decision-making.
  • Support daily, weekly, and monthly production reporting requirements, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and timeliness.
  • Assist with capacity planning, production scheduling analysis, demand forecasting, and resource-utilization reporting.
  • Conduct variance analyses comparing actual performance against production plans, forecasts, budgets, and established targets.
  • Support continuous-improvement initiatives including Lean, Six Sigma, root-cause analysis, and corrective-action activities.
  • Develop and document standard work, reporting processes, data definitions, and procedures to improve data integrity and reporting consistency.
  • Identify opportunities to automate recurring reports, streamline data collection, and improve usability of manufacturing data.
  • Maintain and improve data quality within ERP, manufacturing execution systems, and other operational databases.
  • Prepare presentations and summaries for leadership to clearly communicate findings, risks, opportunities, and recommended actions.
  • Support, communicate, and uphold the mission, values, and culture of DRS RADA Technologies.

Requirements

  • BS or BA degree (preferably in logistics or supply chain); or any related professional certification, or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, finance, or supply chain disciplines.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Outlook, and other electronic communication programs.
  • Strong time management, ability to multi-task, and high productivity while supporting multiple initiatives.
  • Ability to execute assigned tasks with limited instruction, and provide task status while asking for help when needed.
  • Ability to identify project reporting needs, extract data from required sources, and compile and format information into actionable presentations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Compensation and Authorization

  • Salary range: USD 69,051 - 89,767 per year
  • Legal authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. to be eligible for this position.
