Data Analyst

The Business Data Analyst role on the Finance & Analytics team focuses on transforming data into trustworthy insights that support decision-making across the organization.

Role Overview

As a Business Data Analyst, you will build and maintain dashboards, perform data analysis, and deliver recurring reporting to stakeholders. The work includes supporting business-line leaders with data-driven answers to business, financial, and operational questions.

Responsibilities

• Support business-line leaders by answering critical business, financial, and operational questions.
• Build, maintain, and improve business intelligence dashboards and recurring reporting outputs used by stakeholders.
• Query, gather, and prepare data from multiple source systems and platforms as needed.
• Complete ad hoc and one-off data requests submitted by teams across the organization.
• Maintain accuracy, consistency, and quality across reporting and analytical deliverables.
• Review existing manual or inefficient reporting processes and help identify improvements.
• Collaborate with the team to support shared analytical goals and priorities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field required.
• SQL proficiency for querying and preparing data required.
• Experience building dashboards and reports in a BI tool, with Tableau strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including strong Excel skills required.
• Exposure to Python scripting for data work, including API calls, data preparation, and analysis preferred.
• Exposure to Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure SQL Database, and/or Databricks is a plus.
• Ability to work with data from multiple sources and present it clearly and accurately.
• Effective communication and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work onsite without current or future visa sponsorship.
