Data Analyst

The role supports enterprise data management by coordinating database changes, implementing ETL workflows, and troubleshooting issues across databases and related programs. This contract position is based in Burbank, CA and is performed onsite.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with senior management, technical teams, and client stakeholders to define data requirements and align business data implementation approaches with established best practices for advanced data manipulation, storage, and analysis.
• Develop and code logical and physical database descriptions, including specifying database identifiers for the target database management system, or delegating coding details to other programmers when applicable.
• Design, implement, automate, and maintain large scale enterprise data ETL processes to support reliable data movement and processing.
• Manage database and database management system changes by modifying existing systems directly and/or directing programmers and analysts to implement updates.
• Test databases and programs, correct errors, and apply necessary modifications to improve correctness and functionality.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience with database technologies.
• Knowledge of the ETL process.
• Knowledge of at least one scripting language.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
• Demonstrated history of success.
• Desire to be working with data and contributing to business outcomes.

This contract role is located in Burbank, CA, United States and is onsite. The pay rate is USD 36 - 57 per hour.
