Job Description

Drexel Universitys Dornsife School of Public Health is seeking a Data Analyst to support a medical cannabis patient registry study. Working within the Community Health & Prevention Department, the role partners with Dr. Stephen Lankenau and contributes to the full data lifecycle from instrument-related work through dataset management, cleaning, analysis, and dissemination of results.

This is an onsite position in Philadelphia, PA, classified as Exempt, grade K. Because the position is grant-funded, employment is contingent upon the continued availability of those funds.

What you will do

  • Assist with the design of quantitative tools.
  • Manage the inflow of quantitative data, including dataset merges and data cleaning.
  • Conduct quantitative analysis using probability and inferential statistics.
  • Document project activities to support interim and final reports.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required qualifications

  • Masters Degree in Public Health (or a related field) or the equivalent combination of education and work experience (see the Equivalency Chart for additional information).
  • 2–3 years of relevant experience.
  • Coursework in advanced biostatistics and applied knowledge of SAS or SPSS.
  • Demonstrated data management and analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organization.

Additional information

  • Salary: USD 60,240 - 90,350 per year
