Job Description

WebMD/MD Alert is looking for a Client Data Analyst to help map data process flows, validate reporting requirements, and spot where information may be lost or corrupted across handoffs. This onsite role in Newark, NJ focuses on building reporting support across multiple platforms, troubleshooting data issues, and partnering with QA teams and business verticals to strengthen quality.

What you’ll do

  • Manage metadata files for PLD custom values.
  • Troubleshoot aggregate and PLD data issues using SQL, BigQuery, Excel, and Looker.
  • Set up tactics to support weekly data delivery.
  • Develop and maintain a Data Spec (FIAs), including coordinating several client meetings with client contacts using effective communication, relationship management, and business analysis.
  • Publish monthly metrics for e-tumor board campaigns, which includes some manual operations and running individual queries using SQL, BigQuery, Excel, and Looker.
  • Support ad hoc requests from the Sales team to fulfill client needs.

What you bring

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, statistics, or a related discipline, or 1 to 2 years of data analysis experience.
  • 1 to 2 years working knowledge of at least one of Google BigQuery, SQL Server, or Vertica.
  • 1 to 2 years of professional experience in reporting and data analysis using SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (Looker).
  • Familiarity with SQL, including the ability to write queries to retrieve and manipulate data from large datasets.
  • Experience with visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or similar.
  • Industry experience in business analytics, building dashboards, presenting KPIs, and creating actionable insights.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to provide and implement solutions.
  • Self-motivated approach and demonstrable ability to deliver business solutions while working in cross-departmental teams.

Compensation and benefits

The salary range is $76,500 - $85,000 per year.
