Job Description

Contract role in San Francisco (Hybrid) with a focus on turning data into reliable reporting and sustainability-focused insights. You’ll work with established analytics tooling and help keep data dependable through profiling, validation, and model testing.

Compensation: USD 44 to 70 per hour. Work setup: Hybrid in San Francisco, CA, United States.

What you’ll do

  • Run data profiling, validation, and quality checks to confirm accuracy and completeness.
  • Build dashboards and reports using visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and query/reporting capabilities like Databricks SQL.
  • Work with complex datasets and translate findings into actionable insights that support sustainability goals.
  • Document data definitions, assumptions, and business rules to improve transparency and repeatability.
  • Support testing and validation of data models built on Databricks.

What you bring

  • Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and at least one BI or visualization tool such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS and experience with Databricks is a plus.
  • Strong data validation skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
