Data Analyst

Join Booz Allen Hamilton as a Data Analyst supporting Navy missions by transforming digital services through business analytics, predictive analytics, and data-driven reporting. You will help teams turn complex information into decisions with BI data guidance, modeling, and clear reporting. This onsite role in North Charleston, SC offers a projected annual salary range of $55,300 to $126,000.

How you’ll support mission teams

• Advise on using business intelligence data for predictive analytics and help facilitate the implementation of new tools.
• Administer quantitative and qualitative modeling techniques to data.
• Apply analytical best practices across data collection, aggregation, normalization, and analysis.
• Analyze and process data while contributing to model development and report templates.
• Build dynamic, data-driven solutions using tools such as Python, R, SQL, Power BI, and the Microsoft Office suite.
• Recommend and implement performance measures, including lifts, efficiencies, confidence intervals, and other statistical metrics.
• Provide guidance to fellow team members and deliver detailed, actionable reports to business clients to support decision-making.

What you bring

• 1+ years of experience in DoD or DON Data Science, including advanced analytics or data mining.
• Experience with data visualization and the ability to create compelling visual representations of data.
• Experience leading discussions about data products, sources, and projects with executive leadership.
• Ability to be organized, multi-task, and respond quickly to urgent requests.
• Secret clearance is required. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
• Bachelor’s degree.

Tools you’ll work with

You’ll use Python, R, SQL, Power BI, plus the Microsoft Office suite, including Excel and Tableau.
