Job Description
M.S. Hall & Associates is seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and self-directed Data Analyst to help turn healthcare-related data into actionable insights for clients and internal teams. This role supports decision-making through collection, organization, and transformation of data, with collaboration across the organization and occasional client interaction.
Based in Syracuse, NY with hybrid flexibility, the position includes a schedule of Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, with occasional late nights or weekends during busy periods. You will work independently while staying aligned with broader project goals and communicating clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
What You’ll Do
- Collect, organize, and transform healthcare-related data into meaningful insights for clients and internal decision-making.
- Collaborate with internal team members to support ongoing work.
- May interact with clients via email, phone, and virtual or in-person meetings.
- Work independently while supporting colleagues and contributing positively to workplace culture.
- Use sound judgment to identify issues, develop solutions, and escalate when appropriate.
- Manage multiple assignments by shifting priorities and meeting deadlines effectively.
- Maintain strong attention to detail while keeping awareness of overall project goals.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with internal teams and clients.
- Demonstrate dependable follow-through and comfort with changing direction, tight timelines, new assignments, and constructive feedback.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Mathematics, Business Intelligence, Information Systems, Information Management Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex formulas, pivot tables, data manipulation, and analysis.
- Working knowledge of MySQL, including querying, analyzing, and interpreting data.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large or complex datasets, identify trends and inconsistencies, and surface opportunities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Compensation & Location
- Salary: USD 55,000 - 62,000 per year.
- Work location: Hybrid remote in Syracuse, NY 13202.
