Data Analyst & AI Engineering
Job Description
Metrocast Cable Systems is seeking a hybrid Data Analyst and AI Engineer in Quincy, Massachusetts. This role blends data analysis with AI development to generate actionable insights and deliver AI-powered enhancements for telecom services. The position offers a pay rate of $30 to $33 per hour and combines on-site and remote collaboration in a hybrid setup.
Responsibilities
- Aggregate and curate large, complex datasets from multiple sources, ensuring data quality and reliability.
- Conduct thorough analyses to uncover trends, patterns, and correlations that inform strategic decisions.
- Create and maintain dashboards and reports using visualization tools to present findings to stakeholders.
- Assist in designing, developing, and deploying machine learning models and AI algorithms.
- Support training, validation, and evaluation of AI systems to meet performance benchmarks.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to embed AI-powered solutions into telecom services.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations that clearly convey analytical results and recommendations.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in data analytics and artificial intelligence.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a data analysis role with a solid grasp of statistical principles.
- Strong SQL skills for querying and manipulating data.
- Proficiency in Python or R, including experience with data analysis libraries such as Pandas and NumPy.
- Familiarity with machine learning concepts and core AI frameworks like Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
