Data Analyst, Audit

Sherwin-Williams is seeking a Data Analyst, Audit to join the Audit and Loss Prevention team at the Global Headquarters in Cleveland, OH. The role focuses on strengthening the data analytics audit program through independent work and collaboration with the Field Audit Team, including support for compliance audits.

Location: Cleveland, OH (onsite)

Salary: USD 62,255 - 77,640 per year

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Field Audit Team to strengthen the data analytics program.
• Develop scripts and ad-hoc queries using company-provided data analytics tools to support efficient audit testing and ongoing monitoring initiatives.
• Provide data analytics and data mining support to the Field Audit Team for all compliance audits (including Sarbanes-Oxley), operational, consulting, and management requests.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiencies and enhance the field audit program through process changes and continuous monitoring.
• Develop an understanding of key systems, data, business processes, and audit objectives to offer analytic services that assist Internal Audit and Loss Prevention.
• Deliver sustainable services by independently evaluating and challenging the data analytics program and existing scripts/queries to enhance testing efficiency, completeness, and accuracy.
• Assist in completing special projects using data analytics tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems, Technology, or Data Analytics
• 1+ years of auditing and/or data analytics experience
• Experience with common data analysis and data mining techniques
• Understanding of internal control concepts and frameworks (COSO, COBIT) as well as other leading business and IT control security frameworks (ITIL, PCI)
• General understanding of IT processes, business processes, and data flows to help identify key risks and opportunities to implement data analytic procedures
• Experience building or utilizing Tableau dashboards
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future for employment visa status
• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
