Job Description

Data Analyst – Road Supervisor/Dispatcher, onsite in Raleigh, NC, blends dispatch operations with road supervision and data analytics to support Transdev's local network. The role oversees road service delivery, provides customer support, ensures safety-compliant routes, and records data in the company software.

Responsibilities

  • Generate management reports and prepare all customer invoices.
  • Oversee road service by tracking trip performance metrics, on-time route starts, overall performance, and incidents for assigned carriers.
  • Provide customer support by addressing questions and concerns about trips, including no-shows, cancellations, and missed trips.
  • Manage emergency situations for vehicle operators and serve as liaison between the carrier and emergency services.
  • Review daily service and proactively respond to issues that affect customer service.
  • Enter times and odometer readings into the company systems.
  • Perform clerical and administrative tasks in line with contractual and legal mandates.
  • Input and extract data from manifests to furnish information to management and clients.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED; technical degree preferred.
  • 3 to 5 years of dispatching experience.
  • Minimum of one year of related data analytics experience.
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to work shifts or flexible schedules as needed.
  • Subject to DOT drug testing and medical evaluation where applicable; DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 prohibits the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting, typing, and screen time are typical.
  • Work environment combines indoor and outdoor settings.

Physical Requirements

  • Work outdoors in varying temperatures, weather, and humidity; the role may be performed outside and in remote locations.
  • Sit for extended periods (up to 6 to 8 hours); frequently walk long distances and navigate sloped or uneven surfaces.
  • Push or pull objects up to 50 pounds; lift up to 50 pounds with or without assistance; occasional bending, kneeling, or crouching to access files or equipment.
  • Be exposed to high-traffic areas and tolerate dust, vehicle fumes, and noise.

Drug Free Workplace
