Job Description

This contract Data Analyst role supports a manufacturing environment in Cary, NC, translating complex datasets into actionable insights. You will research, manage, analyze, and report results to stakeholders while contributing to data-driven improvements.

Role Overview

Contract position for 4 months with potential conversion to Direct. The work focuses on interpreting data to identify meaningful business insights, maintaining accurate data sources, and communicating findings to management and customers. Schedule is 40 hours per week on 1st shift (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM), with a hybrid setup of 2 days onsite and 3 days remote.

Responsibilities

  • Research, analyze, consolidate, and interpret data using statistical and data analytics methods to identify meaningful business insights.
  • Source and manage data from primary and secondary sources, maintaining accurate databases and data systems.
  • Operate, optimize, and support data management tools, applications, and databases to improve efficiency and data quality.
  • Develop clear reports and communicate analytical findings to internal and external stakeholders, including management and customers.
  • Contribute to projects and process improvements by developing, testing, or implementing data-driven solutions within your area of expertise.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 2+ years of experience in databases, data management systems, analytics tools, or related technologies to acquire, analyze, and interpret data.
  • Master entry.
  • Good knowledge of a technical field or business method, including the basic theoretical background.

Location and Employment Type

  • Location: Cary, NC (hybrid)
  • Employment type: Contract (4 months), potential to convert to Direct

Compensation and Schedule

  • Pay: USD 27 - 30 per hour (listed as $27.42-$30.14 /hr.)
  • Schedule: 40 hrs/Week, 1st shift 8AM-5PM
  • Work model: Hybrid, 2 days onsite and 3 days remote
