Data Analyst (Federal Program)
Job Description
Arc Aspicio is hiring a Data Analyst (Federal Program) to turn complex planning, operational, and exercise information into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership. This role supports planning meetings, exercises, status reporting, and project management for Federal clients, with work conducted in a Washington, DC area hybrid environment.
The position centers on partnering across multiple teams to collect, organize, analyze, and communicate data, including translating technical findings into executive-ready products. Candidates should bring at least 3 years of relevant analytics and product development experience, along with strong communication, consulting, and collaboration skills.
Role Responsibilities
- Collaborate across multiple project teams to collect, organize, analyze, and present planning and exercise data.
- Document assumptions and methodologies used for analysis and reporting.
- Identify trends, risks, gaps, dependencies, and emerging information needs.
- Create dashboards, charts, maps, infographics, timelines, process graphics, and other visual products using a variety of tools as directed.
- Translate complex technical information into clear executive-level products.
- Verify data sources and document assumptions, limitations, and methodologies.
- Support planning meetings, exercises, status reporting, and project management by maintaining accurate data and monitoring key measures.
- Maintain source documentation, references, version history, and Government-approved records as required.
- Work directly with clients to solve complex problems, deliver strong client service, and help achieve mission results.
- Apply consulting, business analysis, and communications skills to identify problems, analyze challenges, and recommend solutions.
Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant analytics and product development experience.
- Experience with ArcGIS geospatial products, including Story Maps and/or Experience Builder.
- Direct experience working with senior clients, including stakeholder engagement and delivering client work products in complex environments.
- Ability to remain flexible and effective in a dynamic, ambiguous, and complex setting while managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Strong written and oral communication and collaboration skills, with demonstrated leadership potential.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in both remote and in-person settings.
- Strong technology fluency, especially with Microsoft tools and collaboration platforms such as SharePoint.
- Interest in joining a consulting firm and learning business concepts; enjoys collaborating and getting involved in company events, offerings, and special projects.
- Ability to work in the Washington, DC metro area and travel to different locations.
- Clearance: U.S. Citizenship only (no dual citizenship). Must currently hold a Public Trust level clearance or have the ability to obtain and maintain a position of trust/Federal security clearance.
- Education: Bachelor's degree.
- Critical skills include executive presence, entrepreneurial spirit, strong work ethic, collaborative mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and interest in consulting work across assignments outside of a single project.

Work Location and Hybrid Environment
Arc Aspicio is operating in a hybrid work environment with work performed at client sites, the Arc Aspicio DC office, and remotely. Candidates must live in the Washington, DC area at the time of employment, and positions are based in the DC metro area, requiring employees to live in DC, VA, and MD within commuting distance of client sites and the DC office.
Compensation
The projected salary range for this position is USD 58,000 - 65,000 per year.
