Data Analyst
Job Description
This role supports workforce and career progression analysis by turning workforce insights into measurable recommendations and evaluation of career progression models.
Responsibilities
- Analyze workforce data to uncover trends, gaps, and barriers in career progression, including promotion rates, lateral movement, retention, and diversity of assignments.
- Use qualitative and quantitative methods to examine career progression frameworks, promotion processes, policies, practices, and supporting workforce data.
- Review stakeholder inputs gathered through focus groups, interviews, surveys, and stakeholder validation activities.
- Support benchmarking analysis by translating findings into career progression recommendations, including cross-cutting themes, dependencies, risks, and implementation considerations.
- Develop evaluation metrics and a post-deployment survey instrument to collect feedback on career progression models and tools.
- Analyze post-deployment survey results and help produce reporting on impact, sustainability, lessons learned, and recommendations for future model/tool modifications.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
- Advanced analytics certification preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis, workforce analytics, or HR analytics.
- Demonstrated experience supporting federal HR, law enforcement, or workforce modernization projects with similar size and complexity.
