Support advanced, intelligence-driven workforce analytics while building modern, self-service dashboards and predictive models that help HR and agency leadership make timely talent decisions. You will help intel customers unlock workforce insights through web-based reporting, standardized data procedures, and centralized HR analytics. The work includes maintaining data definitions, developing HR workforce dashboards and KPIs, and delivering strategic workforce analysis for multiple workforce populations and grade levels.
What youβll do
- Create mechanisms for self-service, on-demand access to agency personnel statistics through dashboards or self-service querying options (career field, locations, grade, race/national origin, promotion rates, hiring, attrition, and more).
- Build and maintain a tool to track customer requests and measure dashboard and on-demand service usage.
- Compile and maintain personnel statistics to support comprehensive and historical reports on the agencyβs workforce.
- Modernize, centralize, and streamline self-service access to HR data and strategic workforce analytics dashboard/reporting.
- Support the Senior Executive Management Office (SEMO) with workforce analysis, including eligible applicant submissions and panel evaluations, and deliver annual snapshots of the Defense Intelligence Senior Executive Service (DISES) and Defense Intelligence Senior Leader (DISL) populations for hiring, attrition, diversity, tenure, and retirement projections.
- Provide ad hoc analysis and reporting of DISES and DISL population insights to SEMO and agency leadership.
- Operate and maintain an agency HR data dictionary to standardize how data is defined and calculated.
- Gather KPIs and milestones for OHR functional areas and determine the data sources supporting those KPIs.
- Integrate and implement requirements from agency leadership, mission owners, and career fields to keep dashboard/reporting efforts consistent.
- Conduct predictive strategic workforce analysis to support hiring, development, and retention aligned to HR strategy and future mission planning requirements across grade levels and all CFs.
- Perform advanced analytics across the five pillars of the Talent Management System to deliver timely, accurate metrics for CF data-driven decision-making.
- Monitor and report CF health, analyze fill rates, strength, talent pipeline, and anticipated attrition.
- Use Career EXPLORER and associated talent development tools, along with myHR and other agency HR Information System data, to support strategic workforce analytics including talent acquisition, assignment and placement, and talent continuity.
What you bring
- Advanced Excel knowledge (formulas, pivot tables, etc.).
- Ability to write SQL code: query tables and analyze results.
- Bachelorβs degree in analytics or a related field.
- 5β7 years of data analyst experience.
- SQL and Python experience (must be discussed in your resume, including how and where you used it).

Compensation and location

Pay range: $165,000β$175,000 per year.
