Job Description
The Data Analyst-Organizational Culture & Engagement at Alliance Health collects, analyzes, and interprets workforce data to support initiatives that strengthen organizational culture and employee engagement. This hybrid role in Morrisville, NC partners with Human Resources and other stakeholders to turn qualitative and quantitative signals into actionable insights.
Role Overview
In this position, you will develop dashboards, reports, and assessments that help improve the employee experience and equip managers with insights they can use. You will support strategic planning and organizational effectiveness by measuring initiative outcomes and identifying trends related to culture, engagement, retention, and health equity.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, analyze, develop, and interpret workforce data, metrics, and employee feedback to assess organizational culture, employee engagement, employee experience, and manager effectiveness.
- Develop comprehensive narratives through reports, presentations, infographics, dashboards, interactive tools, and organizational communications.
- Translate complex datasets into actionable insights using data visualization and storytelling for clear communication to leaders, managers, and employees.
- Monitor trends across employee engagement, workplace culture, employee experience, retention, organizational effectiveness, and health equity; identify improvement opportunities and produce data-informed recommendations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for progress toward organizational culture, engagement, employee experience, manager support objectives, and health equity.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to improve organizational culture, engagement, employee experience, manager effectiveness, and health equity by highlighting trends, opportunities, and areas for continuous improvement.
- Identify and track workforce trends and organizational health indicators affecting engagement, retention, workplace satisfaction, productivity, and overall employee experience.
- Assist in developing and evaluating talent, retention, engagement, and manager support strategies using workforce analytics, employee feedback, and organizational performance data.
- Create and deliver presentations, reports, dashboards, and visualizations that communicate workforce insights, organizational culture metrics, engagement outcomes, employee experience findings, health equity trends, and related analysis to stakeholders.
- Partner with Human Resources, the Organizational Culture & Engagement team, the Health Equity team, business leaders, managers, and other stakeholders to deliver workforce analytics that inform decision-making.
- Support culture, engagement, employee experience, manager development, and health equity initiatives with data-driven insights on strengths, gaps, trends, and improvement opportunities.
- Contribute to reports, presentations, toolkits, and educational resources that help leaders and managers interpret workforce trends, employee feedback, culture metrics, and health equity.
- Promote data literacy across departments by helping stakeholders interpret and apply workforce data, engagement results, culture metrics, employee experience insights, and health equity information for decision-making and action planning.
Required Education & Experience
- Option A (meets minimum requirements): Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Social Sciences, Public Health, Data Analysis, or a closely related field; three (3) years of data analyst experience involving data gathering, data cleansing, statistical analysis, data visualization, and report generation; proven experience in data storytelling and visualization, preferably in HR or OD contexts.
- Option B (meets minimum requirements): Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in Social Sciences, Public Health, Data Analysis, or a closely related field; one (1) year of data analyst experience involving data gathering, data cleansing, statistical analysis, data visualization, and report generation; proven experience in data storytelling and visualization, preferably in HR or OD contexts.
Additional Requirements
- Human resources, health equity, or data science certification.
- Experience in health care, nonprofit, government, or corporate organizational culture and engagement, or health equity initiatives.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL for data analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with survey and evaluation design, data collection, and data analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with MicroStrategy software.
- Strong graphic design skills with experience in Adobe InDesign or similar programs.

Salary: USD 61,439 - 79,871 per year.
