Data Analyst with (Pyspark and SQL)

This Senior Data Analyst role, focused on PySpark and SQL, is based in Bentonville, AR with remote options and a competitive salary range of USD 68,422 - 131,500 per year. The position supports collaboration across product, technical, and delivery teams, delivering cloud-based analytics solutions for Cognizant Digital Engineering clients. Responsibilities

• Design and implement effective analytics solutions and models deployed on cloud platforms (Azure or GCP).
• Analyze business requirements and deliver solutions; engage with the TPM and Tech Lead, and lead conversations as needed.
• Build applications aligned with business requirements, follow industry coding standards, write unit tests, and meet coverage targets defined by the project.
• Ensure features are properly tested and deployed to production.
• Implement monitoring solutions recommended by the client to maintain system health and reliability.
• Document design and service specifications; provide guidance to developers in preparing functional and technical specs.

Requirements

• 6 to 7+ years of PySpark experience is required; proficiency in SCALA, Advanced SQL, Airflow pipelines, and visual reporting tools such as Power BI or Looker Studio; experience with any cloud platform (GCP is a plus).
• Strong experience in SQL, with BigQuery experience a plus.
• Strong Python skills.
• Hands-on experience or knowledge in designing large-scale, high-volume applications is advantageous.
