Job Description

Serenity Mental Health Centers is seeking a Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data infrastructure that support analytics and patient outcomes. The full-time, onsite role in Lehi, Utah focuses on delivering reliable data capabilities that empower analytics and care.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL workflows
  • Develop and optimize data architectures to improve analytics performance and reliability
  • Incorporate data from diverse sources, including electronic health records and medical devices
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across platforms
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions
  • Support the deployment and monitoring of data infrastructure in cloud environments
  • Contribute to ongoing improvements of data engineering standards and documentation

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field; master's preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles
  • Strong SQL and Python skills for data manipulation and workflow automation
  • Solid experience with ETL tools and data pipeline frameworks, including SSIS, Apache Airflow, and dbt
  • Understanding of data governance, data quality, and security best practices
  • Excellent communication and ability to collaborate across teams
  • Interest in mental health and using data to drive impact
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is a plus
