Job Description

Serenity Mental Health Centers is seeking a Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data infrastructure that support analytics and patient outcomes. The full-time, onsite role in Lehi, Utah focuses on delivering reliable data capabilities that empower analytics and care.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL workflows
Develop and optimize data architectures to improve analytics performance and reliability
Incorporate data from diverse sources, including electronic health records and medical devices
Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across platforms
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions
Support the deployment and monitoring of data infrastructure in cloud environments
Contribute to ongoing improvements of data engineering standards and documentation

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field; master's preferred
5+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles
Strong SQL and Python skills for data manipulation and workflow automation
Solid experience with ETL tools and data pipeline frameworks, including SSIS, Apache Airflow, and dbt
Understanding of data governance, data quality, and security best practices
Excellent communication and ability to collaborate across teams
Interest in mental health and using data to drive impact
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is a plus
