Data Engineer
Job Description
UST is hiring a Data Engineer to collaborate with internal teams and support delivery across a project or program lifecycle, including documentation, readiness reviews, stakeholder communication, and cross-functional coordination.

Compensation
$72,000 to $108,000 per year.
Summary
The Data Engineer will work with other staff to maximize productivity for the project or program. Key areas include documentation, program reviews and readiness assessments, stakeholder communication, and coordinating cross-functional teams. The role supports documentation, status reporting, and delivery tracking while coordinating operational processes tied to BOM uploads and change request forms.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate effectively with other staff to maximize productivity for the project or program.
- Document phases of project, program, and process development and report, disseminate, or transfer information required by other functional areas as appropriate.
- Lead regular program reviews, readiness assessments, and risk management discussions.
- Communicate program status, risks, mitigation plans, and executive updates to stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Engage with driving BOM uploads and CP request activities.
- Launch schedule CRF (change request form) and update PUSH/DROP when applicable.
- Manage and track system ship dates and update the system push pout tracker accordingly.
- Close CRFs when project managers are the last approvers.
- Issue delivery notes for completed projects.
- Provide paperwork refreshers for systems that have been sitting in FGI and are approaching their ship dates.
- Establish and coordinate cross-functional teams including Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, Test Engineering, Quality, Product Engineering, Operations, and Program Management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 0–4 years of experience
